My Philosophy

CAPTURE THE SOUL IN EVERY IMAGE

I spend a considerable amount of time traveling the backroads of America. It is here that I have met the most amazing people and witnessed some beautiful places. I love small towns and two lane highways. Not afraid to wander the dirt roads I often run across the leftover ruins of what built this country. It is there my soul comes alive and my passion for photography abounds.

As an award winning photojournalist and Fine Art Photographer, I have been recognized for my Rodeo Photography along with my black and white imagery.

I hold degrees in studio arts, education and psychology along with an M.A. in Art Therapy and Educational Counseling, I have decades of experience in understanding human emotion. As a photographer I use my background to bring out images that captures the attention of my audience. 

I have works in both public and private collections across the Midwest and West. I use my skills to Teach Photography, Lecture about my work and personal experiences as a Photographer. I also Judge Regional Art Shows and do Portfolio Critiques.
