A Contract for Photography Services allows for establishment of good professional relationships and helps to prevent future misunderstandings by having a written agreement in place. This document defines the relationship of D. Sibley Studios in providing a service to the person or business receiving requested services. A General Contract for Services supports both parties by laying out a clear record of the price, duration of services, obligations, and other miscellaneous as noted, so in the event that one party disagrees, the other is protected.

Contract for services

1.Services

Photographer agrees to provide professional photography services for (EVENT) on (Date) at (Location).

2. Payment

Total Fee: $[amount]- Deposit: $[amount] (non-refundable, required to secure booking)- Balance Due: $[amount], payable [before/on delivery].

3. Deliverables

Photographer will provide [number] professionally edited images in [format: online gallery / USB / prints]withinweeks] of the event/session.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client shall ensure reasonable cooperation and access to the event/session space. The Client is responsible for securing permissions at venues if required.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellation

Cancellation by Client results in forfeiture of deposit.- Rescheduling due to weather, illness, or emergencies will be accommodated at the Photographer’s discretion.

6. Copyright & Usage

Photographer retains full copyright to all images. Client is granted personal usage rights to the delivered images. Commercial use requires written permission.

7. Liability

Photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to: weather, restrictions at the venue, or equipment failure. In the unlikely event services cannot be provided, liability is limited to a refund of all monies paid.
